A missing tooth has a far greater impact on more areas than we might initially think. Tooth loss causes not only aesthetic but also functional problems. We can feel its negative effects both in the short and long term. It affects our nutrition, our self-expression, and even the health of our remaining teeth.
The consequences of tooth loss can include: * Shifting of remaining teeth * Jawbone loss * Difficulty speaking * Difficulty eating * Changes in facial structure * Self-consciousness
If we experience tooth loss, or lose a tooth for any reason, it is advisable to have it replaced with some kind of solution, as an empty gap in the dental arch can cause several problems.
What happens if a missing, lost tooth isn't replaced?
The adjacent teeth move towards the gap
They fall over, they lengthen, their roots lose stability
The Afogak's chewing strength is significantly reduced.
The gums are becoming inflamed.
Every bite causes pain, eating will be torture
The jaw is not loaded, so its bone thins and weakens significantly.
The jaw joint also becomes inflamed.
The muscles of the face and neck are deforming.
This deformity affects the spine, and through it, the whole body.
Posture, gait, and the position of internal organs are changing.
If you are struggling with a missing tooth, you essentially have two options to choose from. You can either have a so-called bridge made, which involves the two healthy teeth next to the missing tooth, thereby bridging the gap. Alternatively, you can opt for a dental implant, which is a much more stable, healthier, and more durable solution than a dental bridge. This will protect your healthy, adjacent teeth.
Read on if you want to know everything about dental implants!
Our practice uses and applies state-of-the-art implants made from biocompatible titanium. Currently, these bio-implants are the best means for replacing missing teeth.
When there is a tooth deficiency, why do we recommend opting for a dental implant?
There is no need to grind down the adjacent healthy teeth, as is the case with a dental bridge.
Hair transplantation can be performed at any age.
Dental implants are painless, guaranteeing a new, stable tooth within 3-6 months if you choose the right implants.
The titanium artificial root integrates into your jawbone, creating a bond that is even more stable than your original tooth.
The new tooth will continue to strengthen the jawbone and gums, keeping them healthy in the long term.
The embedded dental implant perfectly matches your original teeth in terms of colour and shape.
In cases of multiple missing teeth or complete tooth loss, removable dentures can be a full replacement.
Your dental prosthesis will remain stable, perfectly usable, reliable, and undetectable for 50-60 years after implantation.
Dental implant at Naturadent – with first-rate BTI dental implants
Our aesthetic and laser dentistry offers world-first prosthetic solutions that permanently solve the problem of missing or damaged teeth.
The Spanish Biotechnology Institute has succeeded in developing an implant with an ejection chance of less than 1.5%. (For other implants, this rate averages 3-4%.)
Fogbeültetés Budapest belvárosában
The surface of perhaps the world's implant with the lowest ejection rate is coated with Ca ions. Thanks to this, when the implant is placed in the bone, the blood around it begins to clot within a few minutes.
This is advantageous, as it will speed up osseointegration, meaning the integration into the bone will occur more easily, faster, and with less stress.
The implantation and dental implant techniques we use are painless. They can be used for the permanent replacement of lost teeth, whether it's just one tooth, several teeth, or even a full set of teeth.
All dental prostheses are made individually: we provide the best quality from the most reliable source, with the greatest care and attention.
The process of dental implant placement, steps:
The implantologist specialist warmly invites you for an implant consultation for the first time.
One part of this is an oral examination, supplemented with a panoramic X-ray. The panoramic X-ray shows the jawbones in two dimensions, allowing us to determine the position of adjacent tooth roots and any changes not visible to the naked eye that require treatment before dental implantation.
During the consultation, the implantologist dentist listens to the patient's needs, informs them about the steps of dental implantation, where they can choose the desired type of implant and ask any other questions.
If the condition of the teeth and gums is satisfactory, we will take the 3D CT scan here at Naturadent before the dental implant procedure. This scan maps the position, quantity, and density of the teeth and bone in three dimensions.
Based on the CT scan, the implantologist can plan the dental implant procedure, taking into account the patient's needs, thus gaining a clear picture before the intervention.
A fundamental prerequisite for tooth implantation is adequate bone structure. For the implant to ossify and for long-term, comfortable, and unnoticed wear, it is essential that the implanted tooth is sufficiently embedded in the bone.
If the bone stock at the site of the dental implant is insufficient, bone grafting is necessary before implantation.
If the bone structure is adequate, the implant will be placed into the bone at a pre-arranged appointment.
At Naturadent, patients receive a laser disinfection treatment at the same time as implant placement, thus preventing bacterial build-up and promoting faster healing. This is repeated a further two times, ensuring that the disinfected, healthy gums free from harmful bacteria heal better.
The osseointegration time for a dental implant is 3-6 months, which is necessary for long-term load-bearing capacity.
Following this, the superstructure and the aesthetic crown will be fitted.
To replace a missing tooth, you will need:
1 implant screw
superstructure
1 crown
How can the risks of dental implants be avoided?
As read above, tooth implantation requires proper preparation. Each described step of dental implantation serves the purpose of minimising risks.
Bacterial infection can be prevented with a course of three laser sterilisation treatments at the time of implant placement. The implant's unalloyed titanium material does not cause allergic reactions or other illnesses, even over decades.
The correct choice of dentist, appropriate consultation, diagnostics, and preparatory work involving the analysis of digital images are the keys to successful dental implantation. By adhering to all of these, dental implantation is a safe dental procedure.
How does a laser assist in dental implants?
Following the insertion of the implant screw, we pay particular attention to ensuring that the osseointegration is successful and that the surgical site heals well.
All implant screws in our practice include a fee for 3 sessions of laser biostimulation.
It has been scientifically proven that the use of lasers can achieve faster and aesthetically pleasing healing, promoting regeneration, and preventing harmful bacteria from reaching the implant.
Some opinions from our patients:
”I don't think I know a dentist as precise and thorough as Dr. Márta Fülöp Papp. She can fix anything, even what was done wrong 20 years ago. I've never been to the dentist without fear, but now I sit in the waiting room completely calm, knowing I'm in the best hands. – Ágnes Kiss
”Many of us are similarly plagued by the same fears when we think about dental treatments. Márta's approach and kindness revalidate the image of a humane attitude with its inherent original worth, effectively pushing our own fears aside. Her undeniable ability to lift others“ lives through conscious effort is remarkable. It is with this thought that I offer my thanks to her. – Péter Vajda
”I've been to many dentists, but I've never found such thoroughness and precision anywhere! Thank you very much for the implant! – M. Dénes
”The dentist left an unpleasant memory from my childhood. “An old, smelly man poking around in my mouth” - this is the basis of my experiences. I sat in “the doctor's girls”“ chair with great anticipation, and the treatment was indeed a very pleasant experience, despite half my face going numb and Márta practically drilling into my ”brain“. Professionals, quick, kind - ... and they smell nice too 🙂 My adult memories of the dentist are pretty good.
”I found them on the internet! I was looking for a biological dentist who pays attention and listens to their patients, not to mention discussing finances with them and carrying out their work as accurately and attentively as possible, as they know that they are “just” one patient among many, but for the patient, even a single tooth is worth more to themselves than a gold restoration, and they always keep this in mind! I found them! A dentist from Naturadent! They are already on the right path! Excellent professionals and great PEOPLE! Please, don't believe me, because then I'll have more appointment slots to choose from! 🙂 ;) – Csaba Deák
