Aesthetic orthodontics

Few people will have a beautiful, harmonious smile as they grow up. Many will require minor or major corrections not only for perfect but also for aesthetically pleasing smiles and tooth positions.

Are braces uncool and embarrassing, or natural and fashionable?

In the past, most people found it embarrassing to wear braces, but today the situation has reversed and it has become something of a fashion statement. Coloured braces are the most popular choice for young children; we also usually recommend removable braces.

For older adults and adults, aesthetic braces are the most popular, which are white ceramic and are difficult to notice even up close. Furthermore, in our practice, we also offer invisible, lingual braces.

When Is Orthodontic Treatment Recommended?

Adults often require minimal aesthetic orthodontics for the repositioning of their front teeth, usually in connection with cosmetic treatments. It also frequently becomes necessary due to grinding, tooth wear, or tooth fractures, allowing the tooth to be moved to a good, correctly fitting position, thereby avoiding further damage.

We recommend orthodontics the younger children when, during regular check-ups, we observe that a tooth is growing abnormally or in the wrong position. These treatments are best started as early as possible and taken seriously in childhood.

It will be much harder to correct tooth position later, and it is less bothersome for a young child to wear braces, as they are easier to get used to. It has become fashionable to wear braces nowadays, just like glasses, and there are truly beautiful, delicate, and aesthetic braces available, allowing everyone to find the one that suits them best, in consultation with our orthodontist.

What is the process of orthodontics?

At Naturadent Aesthetic and Laser Dentistry, our orthodontic treatments are always based on precise measurements and calculations.

We start with a consultation with our orthodontic specialist because we want to know what the objective is, and why the patient wants braces: for an aesthetic smile, for cosmetic reasons, or due to other chewing problems that require restorative, functional orthodontics.

Photographs and impressions of the patient and their teeth are taken for the second time. Based on these images, X-rays, and possibly 3D CBCT (three-dimensional CT scan), we will perform an evaluation and then create a treatment plan.

In the treatment plan, we also make a recommendation regarding the type of orthodontic appliance, which may be metal or metal-free porcelain, external or internal, and one that uses gentle forces, known as. self-ligating braces device as well.

After choosing an orthodontic appliance, it is made and then fitted to the patient's teeth using brackets. After fitting the braces, we also provide advice on how to keep the appliance clean. This is a very important part of the process.

At our practice, with every set of braces We also provide a professional cleaning kit, which, thanks to its practical case, can be taken anywhere and used anywhere.

If you are interested in invisible orthodontic treatment, we will use a digital scan to determine exactly what movements are required to correct your teeth. This determines exactly how many aligners are needed to achieve the desired result, as well as the duration of treatment. We select the optimal solution to suit your facial harmony. Our Invisalign Comprehensive, Invisalign Lite and Invisalign Express treatment packages among them.

Does wearing braces cause any discomfort?

When you first start orthodontic treatment, everyone experiences some initial discomfort – for example, chewing may be more difficult – but you can get used to it within about a week. If the orthodontic arch is poking you or you get sores in your mouth, it is advisable to place a small amount of the wax given to you during fitting onto the problematic bracket. This will make the sharper surfaces more slippery and less irritating. You can get used to the braces quickly within a few weeks, and afterwards, they will be almost unnoticeable.

The Invisalign- The device does not interfere with speech in the slightest, and can be easily removed at any time. As it is made of deep-drawn, hard-wearing, transparent film, it does not cause any injury to the tongue or mouth.

How long does orthodontic treatment take?

In the case of cosmetic treatment, any minor corrections required can be carried out in as little as half a year, but treatment for adults generally takes between 1 and 1.5 years. During orthodontic treatment, you will need to return to the surgery every 4–6 weeks for check-ups and adjustments, where we will examine and monitor the actual progress of your treatment. If necessary, the temporomandibular joint problems We usually supplement this with biostimulation laser therapy.

The Invisalign invisible braces The process is quicker than the traditional glued method Braces. But of course, this depends on whether the patient wears and replaces the splints in accordance with the prescribed schedule.
