Retainer appliance (Invisalign)

The retainer appliance for Invisalign treatment is used in the final phase of orthodontics, i.e., after the teeth have been moved into their desired positions. It serves to stabilise the condition of the teeth and maintain the corrections. The retainer is usually fixed to the lower and/or upper front teeth, and its permanent, generally nightly, use is recommended. Regular use helps to preserve the position of the teeth and prevents the reversal of corrections.
