- Acquiring the necessary physics knowledge to understand the operation of a laser
- Understanding the basic handling, upkeep, and examination of the machine, handpieces, and burs.
- A physical representation of laser wavelength required for tissue interaction
- Detection of the laser device's tiny signals and their importance for long-term trouble-free operation
- The significance of setting different parameters for different tissues (understanding tissue selectivity)
11:15 - 12:30 - hands-on kruzus
- Demonstration and practice of settings required for various soft tissue treatments on a pig mandible (periodontology, endodontics, frenectomy, gingival grafting)
- Familiarisation and practice of the settings required for performing various dental treatments on extracted teeth.
12:30 - 14:00 - Live surgery on suitable patient(s)
