At the Naturadent practice, every treatment begins with a general dental assessment. This is the zeroth step, where our dentists thoroughly examine the condition of your teeth and gums. They will create a detailed report, outlining any potential issues and possible treatment recommendations, thus preparing a treatment plan. Our patients, in consultation with the dentists, jointly choose the treatment that would be most suitable for them.

In our practice, a comprehensive dental assessment includes a full examination of the oral cavity, gums, and dentition, the identification of existing problems and abnormalities, the preparation of a precise and detailed written treatment plan and quote, as well as dental advice.
A digital panoramic X-ray is taken prior to the oral examination, which is an essential part of a thorough assessment, as it allows us to get an accurate picture of changes that are not visible to the naked eye. In cases where the dentist diagnoses inflammation or other problems based on the panoramic X-ray – which is particularly common with root-treated teeth – it may be necessary to take a separate, smaller X-ray of the affected tooth.
This detailed dental map, once created, helps us to prepare the most thorough and professional treatment plan, tailored to each of our patients. This plan includes a detailed description of the identified problems and the recommended treatments to be carried out.
The prepared treatment plan includes and accounts for all minor issues or changes that may need to be addressed in the future. The dental consultation is also part of the examination, during which it is the joint responsibility of the patient and the dentist to discuss and plan on a personalised basis which dental treatments will be carried out.
