A full dental health check - what does it include?
In our comfortable, downtown office, our experienced and friendly professionals will help you identify existing oral, periodontal and gum-related lesions and provide accurate, written treatment plans and quotes. But that's not all, because the assessment includes dental advice that you can easily benefit from.
The oral examination is preceded by a digital panoramic X-ray. To ensure your complete protection and that of our colleagues, we have chosen a high-quality X-ray machine that emits the lowest possible radiation dose. Furthermore, during the X-ray imaging process, your body will be protected by a lead apron.
Panoramic X-rays show lesions, nodules, inflammations in the mouth that are not visible to the eye, hidden or at the root of the tooth. It can even detect larger cavities and unerupted teeth. If the dentist diagnoses inflammation or other problems on the basis of a panoramic X-ray, we may also take a separate X-ray of the affected tooth. The recording will help you to see the need for and the benefits of innovative treatments for teeth that may appear healthy to the naked eye.
