How to claim dental warranty
Conditions for exercising dental warranty
Guaranteed treatment will only be carried out at Naturadent's clinic after an evaluation of the existing problem.
You should consult a qualified Naturadent representative to obtain warranty work.
Specific quality complaints must be made within the warranty period, immediately after detection and only after booking an appointment,
in person at Naturadent's office (1056 Budapest, Váci u. 81.).
All warranty procedures are carried out in our clinic. Naturadent is not able to reimburse the fees for treatments carried out in another dental practice by another dentist.
Enforcement of any dental guarantee on the condition that you attend our bi-annual screening examinations regularly, follow the oral hygiene instructions previously recommended by our colleague or have them carried out in our practice after the current treatment dental hygiene treatment (e.g. dental plaque removal) that may be recommended at the time of your treatment. will help the dentist to detect any hard-to-see/not visible inflammation or other challenges affecting the dentition.
Sometimes the teeth on which the crown or bridge is placed may be traumatised during the preparation work, that they later require root canal treatment. The root canal treatment or extraction of these teeth is not covered by the dental guarantee. (Root canal treatment is a last attempt to save the tooth in order to prevent its removal.)
Following the placement of implants in the mouth, check-ups are required every 6 months in the first year, and every 12 months from the second year onwards, which will help us to uncover any potential problems that need to be addressed. Please note that we only take responsibility for work carried out from start to finish in our practice; dental warranties apply to these.
We also provide a bone-growth guarantee. Should the implant become inflamed after insertion, fail to integrate with the bone, or attach via connective tissue, we will insert another one free of charge. Furthermore, if a problem arises with an implant that has successfully integrated (e.g., it breaks), we will cover the costs of the surgery and other related treatments for a new implant identical to the original, under guarantee. These costs will be calculated according to our current price list (e.g., removal of the old implant, removal of the bridge, preparation and placement of a new bridge).
In what circumstances does the dental warranty become void?
The dental guarantee is not valid if you are a patient:
- Does not show up at the six-monthly screening.
- With treatments or dental work carried out in our clinic see another dentist.
- They are not adhering to the oral hygiene instructions recommended by their dentist.
- Doesn't undergo the maintenance treatments recommended by the dentist/dental hygienist (e.g. scale and polish).
- You do not use the dental prosthesis/prosthesis as intended (e.g. dropping it, handling it with chemicals).
- Not having / not wearing the night bite splint recommended by the dentist.
- Tightening the porcelain shell or damaging it with a foreign object (such as a toothpick).
- Its problem is caused by the natural atrophy of the teeth/arch/jawbone.
- Injured in an accident (e.g. a strong blow to the tooth).
- They do martial arts.
- Smoking, excessive alcohol consumption or consumption of drugs/pharmaceuticals/hormone therapy cause damage to the dentition. (Smoking patients are not covered by dental warranty for implantation).
- Due to his lifestyle, he undergoes a big weight change in a short period of time.
- You have any debts or arrears of fees owed to us.
- A fact, illness, or treatment important for the therapeutic approach is being withheld, which negatively affects the condition of your teeth. (For example: epilepsy, osteoporosis, diabetes, radiation or chemotherapy, organ transplant).
- It does not indicate that you wish for the treatment to be covered by warranty.
Dental warranty does not cover
- Based on the X-ray, unforeseen root canal treatment or other problems that may necessitate further treatments.
- For temporary fillings, temporary prostheses, and temporary dentures.
- To damage arising from a dysfunction of the jaw joint, or from untreated abnormal function of the musculature around the mouth (for example, tongue thrusting swallowing, deep bite, etc.).
- For the atrophy of teeth, gums, and jawbone, and their consequences.
- To reimburse any incidental costs incurred (e.g. travel, accommodation, loss of earnings).
