Laser teeth whitening in Budapest

Bright white teeth are no longer just the preserve of celebrities. Laser teeth whitening in Budapest, for example, is becoming an increasingly popular procedure, offering fast and spectacular results for patients.

Besides safety, its biggest advantage is that it is very durable, the treatment is almost painless and it has many beneficial effects beyond supporting tooth whitening.

If you too would like brilliantly white teeth and would like to try a modern, innovative and effective technology for this, our article contains all the information you need about how laser teeth whitening is performed in Budapest.

Laser teeth whitening is currently the most modern professional procedure, offering the possibility for a patient's teeth to become several shades whiter.

During the treatment, a special gel is applied to the surface of the teeth, which is then illuminated with laser light to activate the active ingredients it contains.

This method not only allows you to achieve the desired result quickly, but also much more effectively, as the laser allows the tooth-whitening gel to penetrate deep into the tooth enamel, breaking down discolouration while remaining completely gentle on the teeth.

The benefits of laser teeth whitening
Laser teeth whitening has numerous advantages compared to traditional methods. The most important of these are:

Quick results: While teeth whitening results are patient-dependent, the laser method can often improve the appearance of teeth by 6-8-12 shades in a single session.
Durability: As this teeth whitening procedure is much more thorough due to the laser light, its effect can last up to 1-2 years – unlike other methods.
Painlessness: Laser teeth whitening, when performed with the appropriate expertise, is a completely painless procedure. At most, it may cause minor discomfort, which can be prevented with anaesthetic.
Safe: Dental lasers are modern, precise and safe solutions that do no harm to the teeth or oral soft tissues at all, and the whitening pastes used are free from harmful substances.

Reduces tooth sensitivity: One of the popular benefits of laser teeth whitening is its ability to reduce tooth sensitivity following treatment.

Would you like to smile healthily with confidence?
We have a solution that will help you regain the natural, white colour of your teeth and smile confidently again.

Biolase laser tooth whitening is a gentle, painless, and safe cosmetic procedure based on medical and scientific principles, which effectively removes discolouration from teeth. After the treatment, you will feel more confident, attractive, and assertive.

Do you know what causes your teeth to discolour?
In most cases, it's the teeth-staining habits we might not even notice, or that we don't think can have a discolouring effect on our teeth.

For instance, regular smoking, wine consumption, or coffee consumption. However, if we frequently eat foods that stain, such as tomatoes, beetroot, or carrots, a darker, more yellowish tooth colour can also develop more quickly.

The original beautiful, bright colour of the teeth can be regained and maintained for the longest possible time by using a combination of various methods and dental treatments.

If you want whiter, brighter teeth, examine your habits and lifestyle and, if necessary, change them. Ask our dental hygienists for advice on dental care tips suited to your lifestyle and habits, or opt for Biolase laser treatment for whiter teeth.

The Biolase laser teeth whitening treatment is fast and effective, with no side effects!

Laser teeth whitening in Budapest? This is how it's done at the NaturaDent clinic!
In our surgery, for Biolase laser teeth whitening, we use the Biolase ezLase device and a specially developed teeth whitening substance for this device, LaserWhite gel. The Biolase laser teeth whitening treatment is fast, effective and free from side effects.

You can expect the following:

The teeth are first professionally cleaned, and tartar removal takes place.
The more sensitive gums are covered with a special protective material.
Next, we apply the special LaserWhite gel to the teeth.
The gel-coated teeth are illuminated for 20-30 seconds with the Biolase ezLase laser dental device with a special LED tooth whitening lamp.
Leave the brush to rest for 5 minutes, then repeat this process for each dental quadrant.
After a comfortable, relaxing treatment of 20-25 minutes, the LaserWhite gel is washed off the teeth, and we're ready to go.
It's important to mention that the degree of whitening achieved can vary from patient to patient, depending on the thickness of the enamel, the structure of the tooth, and age!

What's worth knowing before teeth whitening?
For the best and most effective results over the largest surface area, a dental hygiene treatment is also carried out before Biolase laser teeth whitening. During tartar removal and debridement, any tartar deposited on the teeth is completely removed, ensuring the whitening process takes place on perfectly clean teeth.

We will carry out the teeth cleaning and teeth whitening on two separate occasions. There must be a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 14 days between the two treatments. This is so that we can ensure the gums regenerate perfectly after the teeth cleaning. If we carry out these two treatments separately, your smile will be silkier, more beautiful, and healthier. You will quickly notice the change in the colour of your teeth!

Please note that tooth whitening does not affect fillings or dental restorations (crowns, bridges, dentures), as the bleaching agent cannot penetrate their material!

If you wish to have your crown, bridge, prosthesis or dental restoration matched to a new, lighter tooth shade, this can be done through a separate procedure, making them uniformly lighter and whiter.

Internal discolouration is common in root-treated teeth. Whitening these teeth with Biolase laser whitening is not possible, but they can be whitened internally. The internal whitening of root-treated teeth can be performed as a separate treatment, at the same time as external tooth whitening.

Biolase laser teeth whitening is not recommended for pregnant mothers, or within one year of giving birth. We also need to consider dental development abnormalities and discolouration caused by various medications, as these can also be factors that prevent teeth whitening.

Naturadent Aesthetic and Laser Dentistry is the most recognised laser dental practice in Hungary with the most experience. Choose the most effective in-office teeth whitening for yourself too!

Frequently asked questions
How safe is laser teeth whitening?
Dental lasers now have extremely sophisticated technological back-ups, meaning they can be used safely in the correct circumstances, without side effects.

Is laser teeth whitening painful?
The majority of patients do not feel any pain during the procedure, at most mild sensitivity, which can also be reduced with the use of anaesthetic.

How long does laser teeth whitening take?
The length of the treatment depends on several factors, but the entire procedure can generally be completed in 60-90 minutes.

The teeth lighten by how many shades under laser teeth whitening?
It depends on the patient, as the result is smaller for naturally whiter teeth, but an improvement of 4-6 shades is still achievable with most treatments, and in some cases, even 8-10 shades are not excluded.

How long does the effect of the treatment last?
This usually depends on oral hygiene and lifestyle. The result achieved can be maintained for an average of 1 year, but if someone doesn't drink coffee, doesn't smoke, and pays attention to proper oral hygiene, the effect can last for 1.5 to 2 years.

Van ellenjavallata a lézeres fogfehérítésnek?
Severe gingivitis and untreated tooth decay will always preclude the use of laser teeth whitening, and it is also not recommended during pregnancy.

Is tooth sensitivity normal after treatment?
Yes, mild tooth sensitivity for one to two days following treatment is completely normal, but it will resolve on its own. In fact, if you had problems with tooth sensitivity before the procedure, laser treatment can also reduce it.

Can laser teeth whitening be repeated?
If the teeth have become discoloured again, and a few months have passed since the previous treatment, laser teeth whitening can be applied again.

Can I have laser teeth whitening during orthodontic treatment?
It is not recommended. If you wish to have whiter teeth, it is advisable to wait until the end of your orthodontic treatment and then have teeth whitening done.

How long should you not eat after treatment?

Can I work or exercise after laser teeth whitening?
Naturally. The patient can return to work or go for sports immediately after the procedure, as there are no restrictions on exertion following the treatment.

Can laser teeth whitening be used on children?
No tooth whitening procedures are recommended for children, even with permanent teeth. However, in extreme cases, it can be used as required on medical advice.

Does laser teeth whitening damage tooth enamel?
No, the treatment is carried out within a professional framework, so it has no negative effect on tooth enamel at all; in fact, due to the positive effect of the laser light, the sensitivity of sensitive teeth also decreases, as it seals the micro-cracks in the teeth.

The results of teeth whitening can typically be seen within a few days to a week after the treatment.
With laser teeth whitening, the result of the whitening is immediately visible at the end of the treatment, so it is worth comparing the effect with photos taken before and after.
