Comprehensive dental screening – what does it entail?

Our comfortable clinic is located in the center of Budapest, where our experienced and friendly team of professionals will identify any existing oral, periodontal and gum-related lesions and provide accurate, written treatment plans and price quotes. That’s not all: in addition to the assessment of your oral health, we provide dental consultancy with practical, easy-to-use advice as part of the screening.

The oral check-up is performed following a digital panoramic X-ray. To ensure the absolute safety of our patients and our staff, our clinic is equipped with a high-quality imaging device with the least amount of radiation exposure available. You will be provided with a led apron to ensure additional protection.

Panoramic X-ray imaging allows us to uncover lesions, nodules or inflammations in the mouth that are invisible, hidden or located at the root of the tooth. It can even reveal progressive tooth decay or unerupted teeth. If the panoramic X-ray shows inflammation or signs of other diagnoses, the dentist may decide to take a separate X-ray of the affected tooth. This also helps the patient to see the need and benefits of innovative treatments for teeth that may appear healthy to the naked eye.

The X-ray will serve as a detailed map to help us create a professional, personalized treatment plan for your teeth. The final plan will include any minor disorder or lesion that may be important to treat in the future.
