It depends on the type of treatment you received. It is not advisable to eat while the dental anesthesia is still affecting you. However, after the anesthesia wears off, you can eat, but it's best to avoid very hot, cold, or hard foods immediately after the treatment. However, unless the dentist advises otherwise, you can eat once the numbness has worn off.

After a dental hygiene treatment, you can eat and drink immediately. However, if you received local anesthesia, you should wait until the numbness wears off before eating or drinking.

After a tooth extraction, our oral surgeon will inform you about which foods and drinks should be avoided. However, it is very important to avoid animal-based dairy products, including milk, cheese, sour cream, and butter. Cottage cheese and yogurt should also be avoided, as the bacteria in these products can create a breeding ground for infection in the fresh wound, significantly increasing the risk of infection. Additionally, it is advised to avoid eggs, raw meat, alcoholic beverages, coffee, and small seeds, as they could get stuck in the wound or stitches.

Yes, it is normal. Bleeding can persist for several hours after the extraction. It is important not to suck on the extraction site or rinse your mouth, as this can disrupt the healing process.

During the first appointment, an assessment of your teeth will be conducted. A panoramic X-ray and/or a 3D CBCT scan will be taken, based on which we will create your treatment plan, making it easier for you to plan your dental treatment.

If you have already visited us and a treatment plan has been made, then yes. If you have not been to our clinic yet, a consultation or assessment is necessary, as we cannot schedule treatments without a proper diagnosis.

Once you begin implementing your treatment plan, you will determine the frequency of your visits together with our doctors. For certain treatments, your dentist may recommend the optimal time interval between procedures. After completing the treatment series, you will need to visit us every six months for a check-up and a dental hygiene treatment. We can only offer a warranty on the treatments performed if the six-month check-up and dental hygiene treatment are done on time.

To maintain the health of your teeth, it is recommended to brush your teeth at least twice a day. While it is certainly possible to brush after every meal, there may be situations where this is not feasible. In most cases, brushing twice a day and following proper oral hygiene can help prevent serious dental issues.

It is not always necessary to remove a frenum. However, a short lip or tongue frenulum can present not only aesthetic challenges but can also cause significant issues with speech and eating.
