Bone graft

To provide dental implants that are safe, stable and last up to 50-60 years, we use dental implants of exceptional quality and ensure that the sinus wall is thick enough to place the implants. Some patients may have previously experienced periodontal inflammation and, as a result, have an insufficient amount of bone, or poor bone density. These patients may need a bone graft or sinus lift surgery (for the upper jaw) to ensure safe insertion.

In our regenerative bone replacement procedure, which promotes new bone formation, we increase the volume of the bone through a procedure called bone augmentation. Various materials can be used for a bone augmentation procedure, including synthetic substances, animal or human tissues. However, it is advisable to use human or mixed tissues for perfect implantation. At Naturadent, we use the highest quality of materials with clinically proven results, be it human tissues or a xenograft material, including granules prepared on site from the patient’s own bone tissue, or a combination of the above. Our materials are guaranteed to provide easier implantation, as the body accepts them more easily than synthetic bone grafting materials.

After the bone grafting is complete, we place a dental implant with superior resistance and a hold up to one and a half times stronger than traditional titanium implants. Painless bone augmentation

Dr. Márta Fülöp-Papp is our Head Dentist, an expert in laser dentistry, dental implantation, bone regeneration and bone grafting or bone augmentation. Under her direction, we developed a unique 6-step treatment plan.

• We numb the area with local anesthetic to ensure a painless procedure.
• We create an incision on the gums, then use the window design method to expose the sinus membrane.
• The bone window is used to introduce the heat-treated, pathogen-free bone graft substitute stored in a sterile compound.
• To promote the process, we cover the bone window with an absorbable collagen membrane or a nonabsorbable membrane to allow the granular bone substitute to properly attach to the patient’s own bone tissue.
• We use sutures to close the incision.
• The patient returns for a follow-up check and suture removal 7 days after the treatment.

Not every bone graft is a sinus lift, but every sinus lift requires a bone graft.

A sinus lift is a surgical procedure which aims to increase the amount of bone in the jaw bone by placing a bone graft under the lifted sinus membrane. This creates new bone when the body regenerates.
