What are these white spots?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\nWhite spots on the teeth are signs of fluorosis. They are caused by excessive fluoride exposure during the first eight years of life. This is because these are the years when most of our permanent teeth develop.\n\n\n\nTherefore, white spots on the teeth from a paediatric dentistry perspective<\/a> very important signals. If possible, we should try to prevent, and children Dental hygiene advice<\/a>, and we must also establish paediatric dental treatments accordingly.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nLarge amounts of fluoride can cause white spots to appear on affected teeth.<\/strong>, and may also discolour. Fluoride can be found in fruit juice, mineral water or any soft drink.<\/strong> In light of this, we need to decide what toothpaste and mouthwash to give our child.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIt is recommended to use toothpaste and mouthwash with low fluoride content, and for younger children, it is recommended to store these where they cannot be accessed by them.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nBecause children\u2019s toothpaste and mouthwash taste so good, they may be tempted to swallow them. Swallowing such products can cause not only fluorosis but also nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach ache.\r\n\r\nFor children under the age of six, only Pea-sized<\/a> Put toothpaste on the toothbrush, and teach them that they must always spit out the toothpaste.
